Project 8: Sun Catchers
This past spring, the girls got some fun sun catcher craft kits! They had a lot of fun making a cool window decoration for our sun room.
The kit came with everything they would need: metal frame and a variety of colored glass beads.
First, we covered a baking sheet with foil and put the metal frames on the baking sheet. Then, the girls filled each section with different colors of glass beads!
We cut a straw at an angle to help them scoop the beads.
After the frames were full, we placed them in the oven to melt the beads!
When they were cool, we hung them on the sliding doors in the sun room!
Great job, girls!!
