Thanks to Mom for finding these adorable decals for me!
Mike keeps telling me that when people comment on "how big" I am, they are not being mean. He tells me that I shouldn't take their words to heart because I am pregnant and am going to get even bigger yet. He says I can't help my growing tummy and it should be a reminder of good things to come. He is totally right and really, it doesn't bother me THAT much. I actually don't mind my tummy that much. I like feeling the baby move around and watching in amazement the way she kicks so hard, you can see the movement. It's just the WAY things are said. I don't feel that it is appropriate to call a pregnant person huge or fat, or to bulge your eyeballs out of your head when you get a glance at the growing babe inside of me.
While I'm on my soap box, may I just say that I can't stand when people touch without asking! I don't mind you feeling the baby kick, but please, please ask first! Hey Mom, find a decal for that one ;o) Otherwise, I may just return the favor and feel your tummy too!
Another thing that bugs the heck out of me is the personal questions that come AFTER the birth; "How's your crotch?" YES, that has been asked WAY TOO MANY times! "Do you have hemorrhoids?" "Do your boobs hurt?" Seriously people! I appreciate your concern, but a simple, "how are you feeling?" would be great! I love the reaction I get from these people when they ask these questions and I respond, "my crotch is fine, how is yours?" The look of shock and offense that is on their faces cracks me up!! I'm sorry, was I being inappropriate?
*sigh* Ok, I'm done complaining for the week :o) Just keep in mind that pregnant women are a little self-conscious (especially in the summer), and after giving birth, we like to keep what dignity we still have!
Happy Friday everyone and don't forget to come to the FREE Ice Cream Social benefiting Kate's Kart tomorrow at the Parkview North family park from 12-4!! Have a great weekend :o)

That shirt is hysterical!! You have to tell me where to get it for my preggo friends... xxxooo
I love the shirt!! I am so bummed I missed your giveaway! So much happens online when you're slammed offline.... (sigh) I am shocked to hear that people are giving you anything less than extreme love when you're preggers. I for one would be gushing over your accentuated beauty, not making you feel like a freak. You are in an amazing state in your life and it's a beautiful gift. Flaunt your gorgeousness with PRIDE! (And don't be afraid to throw a Wonderwoman block when those Touchy Tina's try feeling you up! Hello boundary issue!) xox
Your belly is beautiful (not huge)! I can't believe some of the things people ask. Really, folks?!?!
