We had a WONDERFUL Valentine's Day!
The first picture shows the pasta and sauce I got for dinner from World Market.
The second picture shows what I wrote on Mike's wine glass. They have little chalkboards on them... SO much fun!
The third picture is my dinner masterpiece! It was oh, so yummy!!
The last picture is Miss J painting her Valentine's Day plate! She is painting a plate for each holiday so she will have a special plate to eat off of for that holiday for years to come. She was very messy but it turned out so cute. Notice the hearts on her jeans? She was a little love bug yesterday :o)
But yeah, dinner was very tasty! My menu consisted of heart-shaped pasta covered in a Tuscan Vodka red sauce, topped with baked chicken and chives, along with pesto garlic bread and White Zinfandel. Miss J snacked on Cheerios :o) I highly recommend the Tuscan Vodka sauce from World Market. It wasn't too tomato-ey. It was just right. The pesto was SO good. Mike thought it was a little strong but it's pesto! What do you expect? Oh, it was SO good!! *pat on the back :o)*
