Well, the zoo is officially closed for the season! This weekend was SO nice. Mike and I took Jaden for the last time. She invited Great-Gramma Pat, Great-Grampa Wayne, Aunt Cindy, and Uncle Steve. As you can see, Jaden was the perfect tour guide! She has learned her way around and knew exactly where to go and what to look at.
She was pointing out a bird in the rain forest in the first picture. She was leading the pack so she saw it before all of us. She turned around and pointed at it so we were sure to see it when we came around the corner :o)
Here she is leading Gramps through the rain forest tree tops. I think he was impressed with how familiar Jaden was with the zoo.
Jaden's favorite part was feeding the ducks. We brought some bread to give to them.
Here is Jaden playing in the toy train. She took her first real train ride too. She had a lot of fun but held onto my hand really tight when we went through the tunnels!
It was a great day for the zoo! We had a great time this weekend and every other time we went. Thanks to EVERYONE who went with us this summer. Hopefully Santa will give us a membership for Christmas again this year so we can have just as much fun next summer!!
