"Arthur, George, Binky, Jude, Buster, Jude, Jude, JUDE!!"

I'm a little late on the baby update for the week... I have been consumed by book 6! Our baby, just over 1 1/2 inches long and about the size of a fig (whatever that is...), is now almost fully formed. It's hands will soon open and close into fists, tiny tooth buds are beginning to appear under it's gums, and some of it's bones are beginning to harden.

Our little fig is already busy kicking and stretching (although I have yet to feel this), and the tiny movements are so effortless they look like water ballet (unless he is a boy... then the movements look like slow motion football replays). These movements will become more frequent as baby's body grows and becomes more developed and functional.

Not much has been going on in the McClure household this week. I started the giant house transformation... basically I just moved the towels from the closet upstairs to the basement. Not a huge task but 4 or 5 trips up and down the stairs kinda wore me out! This weekend I'm hoping to make more progress. My goal is to get the bedroom closet completely cleaned out and get a closet fixture hung in our bedroom. I would like to get clothes sorted and moved but I highly doubt I'll get that far. Don't worry... I have plenty of time :o)

Some sad news... Tae, a girl I grew up with, passed away last weekend. She was born with a physical handicap (not even going to try to explain what it was because I will get it totally wrong). She and her sisters lived down the alley from me, and Shane and I played with them all the time. My heart is with her family right now.

Some happy news... a friend of ours is pregnant! She is due one month after me and we are already planning play dates ;o) This is her first pregnancy and she is just as nervous as I was with Jaden. Actually, I think her first ultrasound is today... GOOD LUCK!!

More happy news... Erin had her baby!! I haven't seen this little peanut in person but she sent me a picture and HE IS GORGEOUS!! (Can you say that about a boy??) He has the cutest little pink lips :o) Welcome to the world, Andrew Michael!!

Tonight we are taking Jaden to the Home and Garden show in hopes of seeing George... OH! That reminds me of my subject line!! This morning around 4:30, I woke up to Jaden reciting the names of all of her favorite TV characters. Then, she decided to start SHOUTING Jude's name. He must've been in her room or something because she was seriously YELLING, "JUDE! JUDE!" She gets a little mad when he rubs his face on her toys and shoes. He's such a lovey guy but she is a little possessive... I'm waiting for the day when he sleeps at the foot of her bed instead of MINE!

By the way, does anyone know if it is ok to take Tylenol PM while pregnant? I'm having a sleeping issue... Mike has been wheezing in his sleep and it's all I can do to keep from putting a pillow over his face. I need a good night's sleep...
