BIG GIRL BED!!!

It was a HUGE day in the McClure house! Gram and Gramps came down to help put closet fixtures in our closets AND to move the baby crib into the BABY ROOM!

Jaden is sleeping in her big girl bed for the first time tonight. It was sort of an early birthday present from Mike and me.

She absolutely LOVES it! She loves running into her room and diving onto her bed. We didn't even put safety bars up... I think we will be ok without them. If we later decide that they are necessary, we'll get them.

We all worked really hard today and still have a long way to go. Jaden's room is done though! Here are some before and after pics...

The room seems to be more open now. It was kind of bittersweet tucking her into bed tonight. We realized Jaden isn't a baby anymore :o(

It was fun reading her a story in bed with her! Mike and I checked on her a little bit ago and she was sound asleep, tucked cozy in her bed :o) Let's hope she stays there all night!!
