I know it sounds a little funky, but it is SO good! My WHOLE family loved it (skipped the BBQ part for J). Give it a try!
1/4 c. ketchup
1 T. brown sugar
1 T. cider vinegar
2 t. Worcestershire sauce
1 t. vegetable oil
1/4 t. pepper
4 boneless fully cooked ham slices (4 oz. each)
1 can (8.5 oz.) sliced peaches, drained
In a small bowl, combine the ketchup, brown sugar, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, oil, and pepper; brush some mixture over ham slices. Place each slice on a greased 12-inch square of foil. Top with peaches; drizzle with remaining ketchup mixture.
Fold foil over ham and peaches and seal tightly. Grill, covered, over medium heat for 5-6 minutes on each side or until heated through.
Yield: 4 servings.
Now for my variations... I only used two ham steaks. Also, it was a little too vinegary for Mike so next time, I think I'll cut the vinegar in half. Also, I broiled them for about 6 minutes on each side (still wrapped in foil). We had them with green beans! Super yummy :o)
