Melt In Your Mouth Goodness!!

So, Easter is over and I know you are all on a sugar high, right?  Well, just in case you are craving some chocolate this morning, I've whipped up a so simple sweet treat.  This recipe has three ingredients and takes no time at all!  Here you go!

Ingredients:
Chocolate Chips
(I used Hershey's Special Dark... know anyone that LOVES dark chocolate??)
Pillsbury Crescent Rolls
Chocolate Bark Coating

Unroll the crescent dough on a lightly greased cookie sheet.  Drop a few ton of chocolate chips onto the large end of the dough.

Lightly press the chocolate into the dough to make it easier to roll then roll the crescents like you normally would, sans chocolate.

Bake according to package directions!  Remove from cookie sheet and allow to cool slightly on wire rack.  You might actually be able to skip the cooling step.  I just did so I could bake a double batch and only dirty one cookie sheet :o)

Melt one little chunk of chocolate bark as directed on the package... I used the microwave.

Drizzle your little heart out!

The clouds are parting... the angels are singing... this is heaven on earth!!!

As with any sweet treat, you must share!  I took mine to our family Easter get-together and they were a huge hit!  I'm also making them for a special fuzzy friend :o)  Oh, and I am sharing the goodness with all of the folks here!  Happy Monday :o)

When I lived in Bosnia, I used to go to a bakery down the hill for a chocolate roll quite a lot like that. I, of course, am not renowned for my baking....so I've never tried to recreate it. But these....ha,ha...I can do THESE. Thanks for the morale booster!! :D

These look pretty darn tasty! They might just end up being our dessert tonight :) I made crescents once with a filling of parmesean cheese, garlic and olive oil mixed (where you put the chocolate) and I have to say they were pretty tasty too! Maybe I'll have to make half garlic and half chocolate! LOL!
