Vegas Vacation - Day 3: ROAD TRIP!

Our road trip to the Hoover Dam and the Grand Canyon!

Watch out for those mountain goats!

Honestly, I had no clue what I was looking at at this point...

Still wondering where the Dam is...

Also didn't know I was going to Arizona.  It wasn't until we got home
realized we were in Arizona the whole time!
Check another state off of my Life List... also wishing I would have paid
more attention in geography class!

Only six hours later we arrived at Grand Canyon State Park! 

Watch out for those Elk Deer... or something like that. 
They also had a watch out for mountain lions and rattlesnakes!

 

"Be careful and keep a safe distance from the edge."  Remember that...

It did NOT look real!  I felt like I was on the Truman Show.

So gorgeous!!!  The canyon was pretty too ;o)

See the tiny tree growing in the crack?  Simply amazing.

Oh, THERE'S the Hoover Dam ;o)

Lori and I were super car sick and slightly hung over on the car ride there.  The ride home was much more entertaining... 

SO worth the drive!  The canyon was amazing! 

When we got back to the condo, we had a little "Cappy Hat" time before hitting up the hot tub!

 Word to yo motha!
