To Cut or Not To Cut...

I made my hairdresser PROMISE not to cut my hair off while I am pregnant. It is SUPER thick right now because of the vitamins I'm taking and all of the changing hormones. Also, while I'm home with a newborn and a 2-year-old for eight weeks, I highly doubt I'll be spending time doing my hair. A ponytail will definitely be a quick fix. BUT after I have the baby and get back into the swing of things, I'm thinking I will need a change. I love this style:

I used to wear my hair like this in high school. I really liked it and I think it fit me well. Also, it doesn't take much time to do... What do you think? I ALWAYS regret cutting my hair after I get it done (I have even cried on a couple of occasions), but LOVE the way it looks when I look back at pictures. My hair grows super fast so even if I regret it, I'll be back in a ponytail before you know it! Well heck, as I sit here and think about it, it wouldn't be THAT hard to style after baby's born... maybe I'll just do it now... FEEDBACK, PEOPLE!!

you told me to tell you, so i am telling you...."Dont get your hair cut while you are pregnant!" But, that being said, i do like that do (minus the tatoo) i always liked your hair short too. Another short do is Cameron Diaz at the end of My sister's keeper. Check that out.

Go for it! Life is short! I, on the other hand, have limp blah hair that would look horrible in that cut. I wish I could do it!

Post pics when you do!

My first thought when I saw these photos was: My friend got that haircut a couple of years ago and did her best to pull it back every day for 9 months until it grew out. In other words, she felt very unhappy with it. But I think her issue was that she has thicker, wavier hair than Posh Spice so it just didn't look like that at all. I do understand the desire for having an easier hairdo and having a style cut into your hair requiring less work on your part to have it look good. If your hair is fine and straight, I think it could work! If you trust your stylist's advice, though, ask her. I am majorly afraid of getting my haircut, so my advice is to take it in steps: Get a bob first, then get it asymmetrical afterwards if you're happy with the length. You can always cut more off...you can't glue any back on. :)
