A Weekend Made for Mom!

I had a great Mother's Day weekend! It started on Saturday night when I hosted my first annual Mom's Night Out! I invited 5 of my 20-something mom friends out for dinner at Casa Grille and a night of pottery painting fun at Bisque It! I also told them to bring a mom friend of their own if they wanted. Ashley, Erin & her friend Michelle, and Kelly & her friend Danielle joined me for a fun night :o) Two girls couldn't make it and REALLY missed out!

On Sunday, Jaden woke me up with a "Happy Mother's Day!" She and Mike got me a gift certificate for a pedicure at my favorite nail salon! I LOVE IT and can't wait to go get it!! After some yummy cinnamon rolls, Mike, Jaden, and I went to Garrett (after stopping to wish Karen a Happy Mother's Day). Jaden got each of her Grammas a photo book with pictures of her from the last year. They both loved them!!
Since Mom's birthday is on Wednesday, we celebrated that too. Jaden made her Gramma J a stepping stone with her own hand print in it. She had so much fun making it and Mom really appreciated her creativity :o)
Shane found some balls in the garage and Jaden went NUTS over them!! It was a great day to play outside and she sure does love her Uncle Shane!!

She actually threw the ball into the basket on the first shot!

After a yummy dinner of shish-kabobs, we all went to the East Side Park for some playground fun! Of course Jaden and Shane HAD to go down the BIG slide!

Check out the hair!! Gotta love static electricity :o)

Where's Waldo? You can actually see Mom, Dad, Shane, and Mike playing in this picture! Jaden was there too... might be in the tube slide.

We finally got an updated four generation picture!

Overall, it was a great weekend!! I'll leave you with a cute video of Jaden, Mike, and Shane playing in the yard...

What a great idea for a girls night! I love painting pottery, but I haven't done it in years. Think I'll snag that idea for a future night out. And I love seeing Kelly on your blog! What a hot group of ladies!!

Looks like you had a wonderful Momma's Day!! There is nothing better than a pottery painting night with your favorite girls :-) I promise to send the new address soon, I'm trying to be crafty and send out cute little - We Moved cards - it's just taking a minute. Homeownership is alot of work (don't know why I'm telling you this, like you don't know :-P) Take care lady!!
